KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AS FACTOR OF SUSTAINABLE ENTERPRISE’ COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract: Sustainable competitive advantage of the 21st century enterprises will be attained by knowledge management. Knowledge as a resource is a base for creativeness and capability for create new, market useful knowledge. Pressures of global competitors direct organizational activities and efforts to permanent improvement of competitive advantages. Achieved competitive advantages based on knowledge resources, give an enterprise a possibility to sustain market position or exceed competitors. Therefore, it is needed to attain efficient usage knowledge, which is reflected in product and process innovation. Efficient use of knowledge is realized through effective process of knowledge management. It is a factor of enterprise’s innovativeness and meta-resource, which influence efficient usage of other enterprise’s resources.
